My name is Mike Ragsdale, co-owner of RPS Solar Pumps. Our company has grown to the point now that I can no longer chat and shake hands with every customer as I used to, so I felt it important to write a note introducing myself and thanking you for the opportunity to earn your business. This also gives me a moment to share my pride of our company’s products and team, my passion for solar pumping.

Having helped install and maintain windmills as a kid on our family’s ranch, I had an early appreciation for the value of reliable water for animals. (and the art of climbing windmills!) After getting an engineering degree, I worked as an aerospace solar design engineer, directly responsible for making sure high performing solar arrays would hold up in the harsh environments of outer space. I started RPS knowing that I could combine my experience with wells on the ranch with proven solar technology to create a simpler and more reliable solution for water – without having to climb another windmill!
