In our engineers’ never-ending quest to make the installation of RPS solar pump systems faster and easier, we created the QuickDrop Roll, which includes everything you’ll need to go down your well, already bundled together and ready to drop! The QuickDrop Roll allows you to save time and avoid the frustration of bundling wires and rope.
To install, all you need to do is:
1. Screw your pump onto the properly sized threaded coupling (pre-attached with hose clamps)
2. Splice your pump wire to the 3-strand submersible wire (heat-shrinks are included in the kit)
3. Tie a knot with the rope around one of the pump’s eyelets as a backup
4. Drop your pump into the well!
The QuickDrop Roll includes:
100 ft of 160-psi 3/4-inch black poly pipe
100 ft of 12-3 submersible pump wire
100 ft of 16-2 sensor wire for low water sensor
100 ft of nylon safety rope
(components are secured with electrical tape and then rolled up together)
Bonus:
A 3/4-inch male NPT pump coupling is already attached with 2 hose clamps!
Low water sensors already installed!
