- Dig a hole, 30-48″ deep, depending on you sites frost line and local codes.
- Set Schedule 40 steel pipe ( 2 3/8″ OD for RPS 2 Panel Mount, 4.5″ OD for RPS 4 or 8 Panel Mount) with cement. It is recommended to use at least two bags of concrete per hole for securing mounting, especially in areas with high winds, soft grounds or high snow loads. If concrete is not available, bury the pole deeper.
