Biggest impact a solar pump has made on a customer’s life

Supplying water to a clinic in Haiti, they’re using two RPS 800’s to pump out of a well into some water storage tanks, then through an RO(reverse osmosis) system with an RPS TPP. Before switching over to a solar pump system, they were collecting water from a creek with buckets. Using an automated solar pump system has totally freed them up to focus more on patient health.

We’re able to keep livestock here on the RPS office property, and I can wear my cowboy boots to work.

What type of solar water pump projects do you like to work on most?

Irrigation projects are my favorite, I’ve helped really large farms scale up irrigation plans all the to the other side of the spectrum of small hobby farms figure out their vegetable garden watering. I like helping people out with their farming business, since I farm myself.
